Tourism Fair Sees Great Success in Kolkata

 A three-day Tourism Fair took place at the Kudiram Anushilan Kendra in Kolkata between May 30 and June 1, 2025. The timing of the fair was from 11 : 00 a.m — 7 : 00 pm which was aimed at promoting tourism in the region and was successful beyond expectations with visitors arriving from all across the city and outside.

Tour operators, travel agencies, and tourism boards positioned stalls across the fair, presenting tourist destinations and attractions from India and abroad. Among such participants were the likes of Andaman Emerald Holidays. Visitors were thus able to enjoy different cultures, cuisines, and landscapes while planning their dream holidays.

There were cultural programs, food festivals, and interactive sessions designed to entertain visitors of all ages. Exchanges of ideas took place among tourism stakeholders along with promoting their businesses.

It was organized by the Kolkata Tourism Association, in association with the West Bengal Tourism Department who were able to witness a tremendous growth in footfall as compared to previous years, pointing to an increased interest in travel and tourism among Kolkatans. With its rich culture, historic landmarks, and energetic atmosphere, Kolkata was a fitting choice to promote tourism, and the Tourism Fair attested to that.
