Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO)

 The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of tour operators in the Andaman Islands. The AATO was founded in 1996 & has over 100 members. The AATO’s mission is to promote the Andaman Islands as a tourist destination & to represent the interests of its members. The AATO provides a variety of services to its members, including marketing & promotion, training & networking opportunities. The AATO also works with the government to develop & implement policies that promote tourism in Andaman Islands.    

Tourism is a major economic driver for the Andaman Islands. The tourism industry employs over 100, 000 people on the islands. The AATO plays a vital role in promoting tourism in representing the interests of the tour operators who work there.
